These Terms of Sale govern all purchases made on readingnookr.com. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in full. Please read them carefully before completing your purchase.

These Terms exclusively govern the contractual relationship between Readingnookr and any Customer placing an order through the website. They supersede any other terms or conditions not expressly agreed to in writing by Readingnookr.
Readingnookr reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. The Terms applicable to any given order are those in force at the time the order is placed.
Readingnookr offers a selection of products available for purchase on readingnookr.com. Each product is presented with a description outlining its main characteristics.
Product photographs and visuals are provided for illustrative purposes only. Minor variations in color, appearance, or dimensions may occur and do not constitute a defect or grounds for cancellation.
Readingnookr makes every effort to ensure product availability. In the event that an ordered product becomes unavailable after an order is confirmed, the Customer will be notified promptly and offered either a substitute product of equivalent quality and price, or a full refund.
All prices displayed on readingnookr.com are stated in US Dollars (USD) and are inclusive of all applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
Prices are subject to change without prior notice. The price applicable to an order is the price displayed at the time the order is confirmed. Shipping costs, if any, are displayed separately at checkout before the Customer finalizes the order.
In the event of an obvious pricing error (typographical or technical), Readingnookr reserves the right to cancel the affected order and issue a full refund. The Customer will be notified as soon as possible.
To place an order, the Customer must:
Browse the website and add the desired product(s) to the cart.
Proceed to checkout and provide accurate shipping and contact information.
Select a payment method and complete payment.
Review and confirm the order summary before final submission.
Once the order is submitted, the Customer will receive an order confirmation email summarizing the items ordered, the total amount charged, and the shipping address. This confirmation constitutes acceptance of the order by Readingnookr, subject to product availability and payment verification.
Readingnookr reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in cases of suspected fraud, payment failure, or stock unavailability.
Readingnookr accepts the following payment methods:

Shop Pay
Klarna (including installment payment options)
Other payment methods available at checkout
Payment is processed securely at the time of order placement. Readingnookr does not store any card or payment details on its servers. All transactions are handled by certified third-party payment processors.
Installment payments are available through Klarna, subject to Klarna's own eligibility criteria and terms. Readingnookr is not a party to the installment agreement between the Customer and Klarna.
In the event of a payment failure or declined transaction, the order will not be processed. The Customer should contact their bank or payment provider, or choose an alternative payment method.
Customers may request to modify or cancel their order provided the order has not yet been shipped. Orders are generally dispatched within 1 business day of placement.
To request a modification or cancellation, the Customer must contact Readingnookr as soon as possible at:
Readingnookr will make every reasonable effort to accommodate the request. However, once an order has been handed over to the carrier, it can no longer be modified or cancelled before delivery. In that case, the Customer may exercise their right of withdrawal upon receipt of the goods (see Article 8).
If a cancellation is confirmed before shipment, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.
Readingnookr ships to the United States and other international destinations. Delivery times and applicable shipping costs are detailed in the Shipping Policy available on the website.
Estimated delivery times are provided for informational purposes only and are not contractually guaranteed. Delays may occur due to carrier operations, customs processing, or circumstances beyond Readingnookr's control.
Risk of loss and title for products pass to the Customer upon delivery to the shipping address provided at checkout. The Customer is responsible for providing an accurate and complete delivery address. Readingnookr cannot be held liable for delivery failures resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address.
If a package is lost or significantly delayed, the Customer should contact Readingnookr at contact@readingnookr.com so that an investigation can be opened with the carrier.
In accordance with applicable consumer protection regulations, the Customer has the right to withdraw from any purchase made on readingnookr.com within 14 days of receiving the product, without giving any reason.
To exercise this right, the Customer must notify Readingnookr of their decision to withdraw before the 14-day period expires, by sending a clear written statement to:
The Customer may use the following model withdrawal statement (not mandatory):
"I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract of sale of the following goods: [product name(s)], ordered on [date], received on [date]. Customer name: [name]. Customer address: [address]. Date: [date]."
Upon receipt of the withdrawal notice, Readingnookr will provide return instructions. The product must be returned in its original condition, unused, and in its original packaging where possible.
Return shipping costs are covered by Readingnookr. The Customer will not bear any cost for returning the product under the right of withdrawal.
Readingnookr will issue a full refund, including the original shipping costs paid by the Customer, within 14 days of receiving the returned product or proof of return shipment, whichever is earlier. The refund will be made to the original payment method.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to products that are clearly personalized, sealed goods that have been opened and cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, or other categories excluded by applicable law.
Outside of the statutory right of withdrawal, Readingnookr accepts returns for products that are defective, damaged upon arrival, or do not match the description on the website.
To initiate a return, the Customer must contact Readingnookr at contact@readingnookr.com within a reasonable time of receiving the order, providing:

Photographs of the product if it is damaged or defective
Readingnookr will assess the return request and respond with instructions. Return shipping costs are covered by Readingnookr for all eligible returns.
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider but are generally completed within 5 to 10 business days of the refund being issued.

All products sold on readingnookr.com benefit from the legal warranty of conformity and the warranty against hidden defects, as provided under French law (Articles L.217-4 et seq. and Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code).
Under the warranty of conformity, the Customer may request repair or replacement of a non-conforming product within two (2) years of delivery, without bearing any cost.
Under the warranty against hidden defects, the Customer may request a price reduction or full cancellation of the sale if a hidden defect renders the product unfit for its intended use, within two (2) years of discovering the defect.
To make a warranty claim, the Customer should contact Readingnookr at contact@readingnookr.com with a description of the defect and supporting photographs where applicable.
Readingnookr's liability is limited to direct damages resulting from a proven fault on its part. Readingnookr cannot be held liable for:
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or data
Damages resulting from improper use of the product by the Customer
Delivery delays caused by carriers, customs authorities, or force majeure events
Temporary unavailability of the website due to technical maintenance or unforeseen outages
In any event, Readingnookr's total liability for any claim arising from an order shall not exceed the amount paid by the Customer for that specific order.
Readingnookr cannot be held responsible for events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, government actions, or carrier failures.
These Terms of Sale are governed by and construed in accordance with French law.
In the event of a dispute arising from the interpretation, execution, or termination of these Terms, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter amicably. If no amicable resolution is reached, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent French courts.
Customers who are consumers within the meaning of French and European consumer law may also contact a certified consumer mediation body to seek an out-of-court resolution. Information on available mediation services will be provided upon request.
